About Kensho Graphics Prints
Fine art digital printing involves a multitude of factors. These include the type of paper, the quality of the ink, the type of monitor and the programs to pull it all together. It’s become a sophisticated process involving many variables.
I print with an Epson Pro 3800 that uses archival pigment based inks, my monitor uses the latest technology for viewing and printing and I calibrate it monthly. I use .icc profiles which are particular for each type of paper, I work in Adobe RGB 16 bit color space. I use the best quality papers I can find from various reputable and long standing companies. I have a fondness for matte papers, they’re 100% cotton but I also use luster papers and I have one high gloss paper I like.
How to determine what print you want
As you scroll over a photo that appears on the slide show a small drop down menu will appear. This menu will give the name of the show i.e., 'Wilderness Wildflowers' as well as a brief caption. So if you are interested in a photo just jot that info down. Then send me an e-mail or call me with that info. We can then determine what type of paper; if you prefer matte or gloss or high gloss and what size. I can also send some small samples.
